Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort is seeking a Public Area Attendant to maintain cleanliness of hotel lobbies, restrooms, restaurants, corridors, elevators, and other guest-visible areas. You will assist guests with questions, report maintenance issues, and help ensure guest safety and security.

Responsibilities include deep cleaning, operating cleaning equipment, and following company policies. Must have a high school diploma or GED, be 21+, and have 3+ months of related experience; certification for

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Must be age 21 years or older.
Three or more months of related experience and/or training.
Must be certified in blood borne pathogens/bio-hazardous material cleanup (training provided).
Familiar with housekeeping, sanitation, and guest service.

Responsibilities

Deep cleans carpet, windows, floors, corridors, upholstery, and drapes.
Operates cleaning machinery such as vacuums, pressure washers, carpet extractors, etc.
Reports maintenance issues and equipment malfunctions.
Maintains clean, safe, hazard-free work environment and adheres to policies.
Attends staff meetings and supports safety programs.
Responds to guest requests and resolves complaints in a timely manner.
