Job summary

Viejas Casino & Resort in the San Diego area is seeking a Public Area Attendant to keep lobbies, restrooms, dining areas and corridors spotless and guest-ready. You will operate cleaning equipment, report maintenance issues, assist guests, and support safety standards while providing friendly service in a fast-paced environment.

Must be 21+ with 3+ months related experience; a high school diploma is preferred; be flexible to work day/evening shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

3+ months of related experience and/or training in housekeeping or janitorial tasks.
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Knowledge of cleaning equipment and sanitation practices.
Willing to work flexible day/evening hours including weekends/holidays.
Must obtain bloodborne pathogens certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

Deep cleans hotel lobbies, restrooms, corridors, and public areas.
Operates cleaning machinery such as vacuums and carpet extractors.
Reports maintenance issues and safety concerns to appropriate teams.
Keeps surfaces free of fingerprints, smudges, and debris.
Assists guests with questions about the resort and directions.
Attends staff briefings and adheres to SOPs and policies.
Maintains a clean, safe work environment and responds to guest requests promptly.
