Highgate Hotels, LP is seeking a Public Area Attendant for Courtyard Bloomingdale in Bloomingdale, IL. You will maintain lobby areas, business center, fitness center, public restrooms, corridors and other public spaces to hotel standards, and assist with room attendant duties when needed.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma or equivalent, hotel or housekeeping experience preferred, and must stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, multitask and communicate clearly with guests and

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Previous housekeeping experience is highly preferred.
• Flexibility with long hours and shift work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain lobby, Business Center, Fitness Center, restaurants, public restrooms, corridors and meeting rooms to hotel standards.
• Be attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to guests and staff.
• Follow two-way radio etiquette and report maintenance issues.
• Assist with room attendant duties and deliver clean linen as needed.
• Ensure cleanliness of public areas and adherence to hotel procedures.
