Hotel Equities is seeking a dedicated Painter to maintain interior and exterior hotel surfaces, ensuring clean, attractive, and safe finishes throughout guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities include surface prep, color matching, and applying finishes with brushes and rollers, all while adhering to safety guidelines.

The role requires experience in hospitality painting, ability to work at heights, and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience with preparing surfaces, priming, patching and painting in hotel environments.
• Ability to match colors and maintain consistency with existing finishes.
• Proficiency with painting tools and equipment (brushes, rollers, ladders, etc.).
• Basic English communication and math skills for calculations and reporting.
• Willingness to follow safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare interior and exterior surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, patching and caulking.
• Paint guest rooms, corridors, public areas, offices, and other hotel surfaces as assigned.
• Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and finishes with appropriate tools.
• Identify colors and finishes to align with hotel standards.
• Use ladders or lifts safely to complete painting tasks at height.
• Perform routine touch-up painting and cosmetic repairs.
• Complete scheduled projects and respond to work orders in a timely manner.
• Protect furniture and surfaces from paint and debris during work.
• Inspect completed work for coverage, finish quality and color consistency.
