Job summary

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Sioux City is seeking a Hotel Lead to manage, coordinate, and direct the activities of the Hotel and Retail areas in the absence of the Assistant Manager of Hotel Operations, ensuring top guest service, staff productivity, and cost control.

You will assist the Assistant Manager and Manager in administration, training, motivating, and evaluating staff, while maintaining effective procedures and security of company funds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years successful experience in hotel or retail operations.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Business, or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists or acts in the absence of the Assistant Manager with training, motivating, evaluating, and managing staff.
• Responsible for personnel and customer issues for the Hotel & Retail areas.
• Maintains effective controls to ensure adherence to procedures and protect company funds.
• Plans hotel promotions and events to optimize room blocks and room service.
• Investigates and resolves customer complaints to satisfy guests.
