Rivers Casino Pittsburgh is seeking a Night Auditor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling hotel transactions during evening shifts while ensuring top-notch customer service. As a Night Auditor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring a seamless experience for our guests, from check-in to check-out. If you possess exceptional multitasking abilities, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Extend a warm and genuine welcome to guests, addressing their inquiries, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions, and ensuring their needs are met promptly.
  • Conduct daily audits of the hotel's financial data, handle guest transactions, and collaborate with other departments as required.
  • Proactively engage with guests throughout their stay, making them feel valued and appreciated.
  • Manage room bookings and special requests, ensuring efficient allocation based on VIPs, repeat guests, and specific packages.
  • Process credit card transactions and accurately post charges to guest accounts.
  • Ensure accuracy in financial documents and prepare necessary reports.
  • Assist with guest check-ins and check-outs, including the preparation of registration cards and guest folios.
  • Handle guest complaints and emergencies calmly, finding effective solutions and ensuring a positive resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Positive and friendly demeanor with a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Exceptional multitasking skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to learn and maintain knowledge of phone and reservation systems.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and software.
  • Ability to handle financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Must be able to successfully pass pre-employment processes.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Certifications
  • Must be able to obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with this license.
Physical Requirements
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Must be able to traverse within the operating areas to respond to and assist other team members.
  • Frequent bending, reaching, pushing/pulling up to 25 lbs., and twisting.
  • Finger/hand dexterity to maneuver on computer keyboards and other office equipment.
