KMD Hotel Group II is seeking a friendly and energetic Morning Breakfast Attendant to warmly welcome guests and start their day with a memorable dining experience. You will manage the breakfast buffet, serve items, and maintain a pristine breakfast area each morning.

The role emphasizes guest service, reliability, and basic food handling knowledge, with opportunities for professional growth within our North Charleston hotel team.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work early morning shifts (5:00–6:00 AM).
• Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Food handler certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire.

• Greet and assist guests in the breakfast area with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items including coffee and pastries.

• Keep the breakfast area clean, organized, and presentable during service.
• Clear and sanitize tables, counters, and serving stations promptly.
• Break down and store breakfast items at close of service.

About the Role:

Looking for a friendly and energetic Morning Breakfast Attendant to help start our guests' days off right! This is a fantastic opportunity to be the welcoming face of our hotel each morning, creating a warm and memorable dining experience for every guest who walks through our doors.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and maintain the morning breakfast buffet, ensuring food items are fully stocked and freshly replenished
• Greet and assist hotel guests in the breakfast area with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Prepare and serve hot and cold breakfast items including coffee, pastries, eggs, and more
• Monitor food temperatures and ensure all items meet health and safety standards
• Keep the breakfast area clean, organized, and presentable throughout the morning service
• Clear and sanitize tables, counters, and serving stations promptly
• Break down and properly store all breakfast items at the close of service

Requirements:

• Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or a hotel environment preferred
• Ability to work early morning shifts, typically starting between 5:00–6:00 AM
• Strong customer service skills with a positive, guest-first attitude
• Knowledge of basic food handling and sanitation practices
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated with minimal supervision needed
• Food handler's certification or willingness to obtain one upon hire
