Job summary

Charming Inns is seeking a dedicated property maintenance technician to join our hotel and restaurant team in Charleston, SC. The role covers day-to-day upkeep across Wentworth Mansion and other downtown properties, with on-site work and occasional special projects.

The ideal candidate has experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and carpentry, and can perform preventative maintenance. You must be able to work 10 a.m.–6 p.m. including weekends, and hold a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC, plumbing, basic electrical and basic carpentry.
• Able to perform preventative maintenance and general maintenance tasks.
• Communicate professionally with guests, co-workers and vendors.
• Available to work 10 a.m.–6 p.m., including weekends and on-call shifts.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day upkeep and repairs on our downtown Charleston hotels and related properties.
• Coordinate with property staff, management, and outside vendors on maintenance projects.
• Assist with special maintenance projects as assigned.
