Extended-Stay-Hotel in Charleston, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician who will keep property equipment running and guest rooms in good repair. The role emphasizes reliability, cleanliness, and timeliness in completing tasks.

You will follow Green Shield Binder standards, perform preventive maintenance, respond to guest requests, and coordinate with management and external vendors as needed. A strong safety mindset and basic maintenance skills are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent; 1–3 months related experience may be accepted.
• Read and speak English proficiently; follow safety instructions and manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to guest experience and associates.
• Works with minimal supervision while performing duties to company standards.
• Responds to guest requests with diligent follow-through per procedures.
• Performs out-of-room cleaning to keep premises pristine, including trash and debris removal.
• Performs repairs listed on work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Completes preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as scheduled.
• Follows the Green Shield Schedule and SOPs to complete tasks per standards.
• Maintains organized maintenance area and safeguards tool inventory daily.
• Keeps boiler, electric, HVAC, and fire sprinkler rooms clean and compliant.
• Ensures fire safety equipment is operational and inspections are current.
• Complies with ESA safety and security policies (OSHA/ADA).
• May assist with pool/spa maintenance as applicable per ESA policies and local ordinances.
• Assists with emergencies at the property or sister locations when needed.
• Monitors outside vendors as directed by management.
