Job summary

Peregrine Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to support hotel operations in Myrtle Beach. The role involves executing daily maintenance tasks, coordinating with the Director of Engineering, and ensuring safety and quality in all work performed.

The position requires at least 2 years in maintenance or engineering, willingness to work flexible shifts including holidays, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Hotel experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in maintenance, facilities or engineering.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Receive daily work assignments from Director of Engineer and review priorities.
• Organize materials, tools and equipment to perform daily assignments.
• Maintain time lines and work schedule per preventive maintenance program.
• Check work orders and maintenance reports for problems.
• Make rounds to identify touch-ups or safety concerns in the hotel.
• Maintain tools, supplies and workspace cleanliness and organization.
• Handle chemicals according to hotel OSHA requirements.
• Complete room preventive maintenance and respond to guest requests promptly.
• Follow hotel policies, SOPs, safety standards and team collaboration.
