Crowne Plaza Lansing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the hotel’s facilities, guest rooms, and public areas in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, address repairs, and collaborate with staff to ensure guest satisfaction and safe operations.

Responsibilities include routine inspections, responding to requests, and maintaining records, with opportunities to assist across pools, kitchens, and other areas as needed. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Prior hotel maintenance or related facility experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and carpentry.
• Ability to read construction drawings and follow safety guidelines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance of guest areas and facilities.
• Respond to guest requests and maintenance issues in a courteous, timely manner.
• Complete work orders promptly and document repairs.
• Carry out repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC, doors, fixtures.
• Assist with pool, laundry, kitchen, and other facility maintenance as needed.
• Maintain safe working conditions and proper records.
