General knowledge of maintenance and related work experience.

Responsibilities

Preventive maintenance of guest rooms, equipment, and supplies, including HVAC/PTAC, vacuums, ice machines, TVs, washers/dryers, water heaters, sprinkler systems, swimming pool, and case goods/cabinets.
Maintain the swimming pool and whirlpool according to local health department and franchise standards.
Perform all specific repairs unless a general contractor is needed and approved by management.
Provide assistance to all other departments as needed.
Be on call at all times in case of emergency.
Operate basic maintenance tools.
Read and follow instructions.
Run errands for hotel.
Adhere to strict key control policies.
Keep accurate records of all preventive maintenance.
Perform outdoor lawn and snow services as needed.
