Job summary

HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS HOTEL & SUITES in Wisconsin is seeking a maintenance technician responsible for preventive maintenance across guest rooms and property. The role requires general knowledge of maintenance and hands-on skills to service HVAC, pool equipment, laundry machines, lighting, and safety systems.

You will be on-call for emergencies, adhere to dress code with a maintenance uniform, and follow strict safety and key-control procedures while supporting other departments as needed.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of maintenance and related work experience.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Preventive maintenance of guest rooms, equipment, and supplies (HVAC/PTAC, vacuums, ice machines, TVs, washers/dryers, water heaters, sprinklers, pool, case goods).
• Maintain the swimming pool and whirlpool according to health department and franchise standards.
• Perform repairs as directed unless a general contractor is needed and approved by management.
• Provide assistance to other departments as needed.
• Be on-call for emergencies and operate basic maintenance tools.
• Read and follow instructions and run hotel errands as required.
• Adhere to key control policies and keep records of preventive maintenance.
• Perform outdoor lawn and snow services as needed.
