Job summary

Ignite Hotels is seeking a Maintenance Engineer for Comfort Suites Airport-University in Bozeman, MT. This part-time role supports daily property maintenance and repairs to keep guest areas safe and fully operational.

The ideal candidate has basic skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical or carpentry, with high school diploma preferred. Training in trade schools or HVAC is a plus; weekend/evening shifts may apply, and safety is emphasized.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Trade school or HVAC/electrical/plumbing training a plus.
Prior hotel maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Respond to maintenance requests in guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on rooms, equipment, and building systems.
Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues.
Conduct regular inspections to identify needed repairs.
Assist with room turns and out-of-order room recoveries.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of shops, storage, and work areas.
Follow safety procedures and company policies.
Assist with vendor access and support contracted work as needed.
Maintain work order documentation and logs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
