Ignite Hotels is seeking a part-time Maintenance Engineer for the Comfort Suites Airport-University in Bozeman, MT. The role covers hotel maintenance, essential repairs, and preventive upkeep to ensure safe, clean, and fully operational facilities.

The position requires basic trade skills, willingness to train, and availability for weekends/evenings. Compensation is hourly, with potential benefits for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Trade school or HVAC/electrical/plumbing training a plus.
• Prior hotel, apartment, or commercial maintenance experience preferred (willing to train with basic skills).

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests in guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on rooms, equipment, and building systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify needed repairs.
• Assist with room turns and out-of-order room recoveries.
