Job summary

Fairfield Inn & Suites at MH Landing (MH Ozone II, Llc) is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join the hotel team and work with our Chief Engineer to keep the property in excellent condition.

This role welcomes both experienced maintenance pros and individuals with strong mechanical aptitude. On-the-job training is provided, with a focus on safety, teamwork, and hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance, facilities, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or handyman work preferred.
• Ability to safely operate hand and power tools.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent attendance and dependability.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance throughout the hotel.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry repairs.
• Troubleshoot guest room maintenance issues and respond promptly to service requests.
• Help maintain the pool, public areas, exterior grounds, and mechanical equipment.
• Work with our Chief Engineer to complete projects and ensure the hotel remains in excellent condition.
• Follow all safety procedures and Marriott brand standards.
