Olympia Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Person to uphold our property and guest comfort at Spruce Point Inn. The role involves preventive maintenance, repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment, and timely response to service requests to ensure high-quality guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or equivalent.
• Vocational training in maintenance preferred.
• Physically capable of performing demanding maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests, staff, and management.
• Inspect building systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, elevators, generators) for safety compliance.
• Keep records of inspections, maintenance activities, and equipment performance.
• Coordinate with other departments and contractors for emergency repairs.
• Assist with renovations and equipment upgrades to enhance guest experience.
