Grand Canyon Hotel & Suites, part of Xanterra Travel Collection, seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to handle upkeep for the hotel, store, and housing units. Tasks include troubleshooting electrical motors up to 220 volts, plumbing, HVAC/refrigeration, carpentry, and painting.

Based in Tusayan, AZ, this full-time role offers a $20.75 hourly wage with a typical 40-hour schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. Benefits and growth opportunities are available through Xanterra.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in property maintenance or trades (HVAC, electrical, refrigeration, plumbing).
• Wamiliarity with pool maintenance and building systems is a plus.
• Willingness to obtain CPO certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Support Xanterra’s Mission Statement and Core Values while providing exceptional guest service.
• Perform preventive and corrective property maintenance (pool, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, carpentry, painting).
• Respond to work orders, troubleshoot issues, operate equipment safely, and report concerns.
• Conduct routine inspections and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Follow safety and PPE requirements; perform other duties as assigned.
