Job summary

The Grand Hotel at the Grand Canyon, part of Xanterra Travel Collection, seeks a Facilities Maintenance Technician Lead in Tusayan, AZ, one mile from the south rim entrance. The role oversees general maintenance and repairs across all hotel facilities.

Typical schedule is 40 hours per week with potential weekends, evenings and holidays; pay is $21.95 per hour; start expected September 2026. Join a team focused on guest comfort, safety, and hospitality with employee housing options.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid/clear Driver’s License and comply with company vehicle policy.
• Ability to complete CPO Certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks without close supervision in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• Learn all areas of Maintenance and train General Maintenance grades.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Perform inspections, maintenance and clean employee housing units as directed.
• Carry out electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC and other repairs in line with current codes.
• Identify issues and work with the maintenance manager to develop preventative plans.
