Job summary

Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, seeks a skilled maintenance technician to service electrical, carpentry, plumbing and mechanical systems across guestrooms and public areas. This full-time, year-round role handles work orders, schedules preventive maintenance, and collaborates with Rooms Director to coordinate tasks, ensuring safety and guest comfort.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of electrical, carpentry, plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain general condition of the property with regards to electrical, carpentry, plumbing and mechanical work.
• Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis.
• Participate in preventive maintenance program for all-building equipment and rooms.
• Maintain timelines and schedules per the preventive maintenance program.
• Check night reports for problems and perform rounds to note safety concerns.
• Schedule work in coordination with Rooms Director.
• Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas.
• Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Ensure security of assigned keys.

Description

Discover a place where wonder, adventure and relaxation meet. Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa rests on 180 acres in the red rock canyons of western Colorado. Amenities include lodging, dining, UTV and Jeep tours, horseback riding, full service spa, and air tours.

Assist in maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanical. Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis. Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all-building equipment and rooms. Complete other special projects assigned periodically by the Property Operations Manager.

• Maintain timelines and work schedule in accordance with the preventive maintenance program.
• Check work orders and night report for any problems. Make rounds checking these problem areas and note any information needed or safety concerns in the hotel.
• Schedule work in accordance with preventive maintenance program in rooms, coordinating with Rooms Director.
• Perform general maintenance to guestrooms and public areas.
• Assist other engineering personnel as instructed by supervisor in regards to routine and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Ensure security of any assigned keys.

• Full-time, year round position - $19.00-$23.00/hour
