Job summary

Servis Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician for multi-site coverage across Grand Rapids, Belmont, and Sparta, MI. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC tasks, with on-call duties and strong focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

You'll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain hotel facilities and systems, complete paperwork, and collaborate with the engineering team to ensure operational readiness and quality service.

Responsibilities

• This multi-site role covers three properties in Grand Rapids, Belmont, and Sparta, MI; on-call duties required.
• Complete regulatory obligations related to maintenance duties.
• Perform carpentry repairs to interiors, exteriors, and furniture.
• Perform painting, decorating, and finishing tasks.
• Conduct preventative maintenance in guest rooms.
• Perform basic electrical and light plumbing repairs.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, and other issues; document it.
• Respond to work orders and guest concerns promptly.
• Complete work orders and follow up with guests.
• Communicate maintenance services professionally.
• Perform daily/weekly/monthly preventive maintenance.
• Assist in emergencies as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Chief Engineer or Director of Operations.
