Round Barn Hotel, Tribute Portfolio by Marriott in Santa Rosa, California, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our Engineering team. You will help maintain building systems, guest rooms, and public spaces, ensuring safety and functionality for a superior guest experience.

The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and capable of promptly addressing maintenance issues while delivering exceptional service to guests and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of maintenance or engineering experience.
• Previous hotel, resort, or hospitality maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry and general building maintenance systems.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel.
• Inspect building systems and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and refrigeration systems as assigned.
• Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to department schedules.
• Assist with maintaining furniture, fixtures, and equipment throughout the property.
