Job summary

Marriott International's Sheraton brand is seeking a hotel maintenance engineer to respond to guest repair requests and perform preventive maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.

The role requires at least 2 years in hotel engineering, a valid Driver’s License, and Universal CFC certification. You will work with a team to ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; vocational/technical background preferred.
Minimum 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience.
Universal CFC Certification
Must meet state and federal certification/licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

Respond to and attend guest repair requests with minimal supervision.
Communicate with guests and team members to resolve maintenance issues.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools, equipment, and systems; inspect and lubricate as needed.
Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves and safety systems.
Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts; use Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Train and mentor other engineers; perform Engineer on Duty duties as required.
