Job summary

Leisure Hotel in Duluth, MN is seeking a Hotel Maintenance Technician to keep our property safe, functional, and welcoming for guests and staff. You will perform routine maintenance across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems and respond promptly to requests.

This role requires troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Prior certifications in HVAC or electrical are a plus, and a reliable transportation method is expected.

Qualifications

• Proven maintenance experience in buildings or facilities management.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Certifications or licenses in HVAC or electrical are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of hotel facilities (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry).
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and staff promptly.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment, fixtures, and appliances.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and inventory of supplies.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Assist in setup and breakdown of event spaces and projects.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to extend asset lifespan.
• Wall repair, painting, mudding, and minor electrical/plumbing tasks.
• Pool knowledge is a plus; willingness to attend pool school if needed.
