Job summary

Stonebridge's Residence Inn Needham in Needham, MA seeks a Maintenance Attendant to support hotel maintenance operations, ensuring facilities and equipment function properly and safety standards are met. You will assist with preventive maintenance across refrigeration, heating, plumbing, HVAC, and guest areas, monitor utilities, log findings, and respond to emergencies with a proactive, service-oriented approach.

The role requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance systems including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and lockout-tagout is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Assist with maintenance and preventive tasks across refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C units, and hotel equipment.
• Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption and report issues as needed.
• Ensure maintenance projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
• Log findings from equipment checks and report safety concerns immediately.
• Maintain key inventory and security procedures.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist as needed.
