Job summary

Stonebridge is seeking a Maintenance Attendant for the Residence Inn Needham, MA to support hotel maintenance operations and uphold safety and guest comfort. You will assist with preventative tasks, repairs, and routine upkeep across refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.

Typical shifts include evenings, weekends, and holidays with potential on-call responsibilities. Candidates should be able to work independently, communicate effectively with team, and log maintenance

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of maintenance systems including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.
• Familiarity with safety procedures including lockout-tagout is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service at all times.
• Assist with maintenance and preventative maintenance tasks including refrigeration, heating, plumbing, A/C units, and hotel equipment.
• Monitor electric, gas, and water consumption and report issues as needed.
• Ensure maintenance projects are completed on time and according to specifications.
• Practice safety procedures including lockout-tagout in accordance with OSHA standards.
• Perform preventative maintenance in guest rooms and public areas as scheduled.
• Conduct maintenance checks of equipment and properly log findings.
• Report safety and security concerns to the Chief Engineer or Manager on Duty.
• Maintain key inventory and ensure security procedures are followed.
• Respond to emergency situations and assist as needed.
• Participate in ongoing maintenance programs for event spaces, public areas, and hotel equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workspaces and storage areas.
