Job summary

Buffalo Lodging Associates is seeking a Maintenance Assistant for Hampton Inn Buffalo-Airport/Galleria Mall to join our team. The role involves basic repair work, painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and maintenance of pool areas, in line with preventative maintenance schedules.

You will also help keep indoor and outdoor spaces clean and safe, assist the Chief Engineer, and support day-to-day property operations. Valid driver's license is required; ability to lift up to 75 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of mechanic experience in a hotel or related field.
• HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler operations and general maintenance skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic repair work, painting, wall covering, plumbing and electrical tasks.
• Maintain pool and spa areas and test according to state/local regulations.
• Clean internal areas, floors, and parking lot; keep public and storage areas tidy.
