Hilton Garden Inn Boston/Logan is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance under the Chief Engineer. You will respond to guest maintenance requests with professionalism and complete tasks and projects as assigned, ensuring equipment, systems, and facilities operate safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of relevant maintenance, engineering, or facilities experience.
• Strong English verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team; dependable and flexible.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive prompt, professional maintenance service.
• Complete tasks, work orders and projects as assigned by Chief Engineer.
• Perform daily inspections to maintain grounds and work areas.
• Ensure life safety equipment is up to code and report concerns.
• Complete preventive maintenance tasks on schedule.
• Maintain and test emergency and security systems as required.
• Ensure tools and equipment are in good working condition.
• Maintain the security of all equipment and tools.
• Maintain grounds, pool, fitness area, and other duties as assigned.
• Proficient in basic building services: walls, tile, grout, caulking, plaster, painting.
• Conduct property walks for cleanliness and security.
• Setup, maintain and refresh function rooms when needed.
