Job summary

Kolter Hospitality is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to uphold the hotel’s operational standards at Hilton Garden Inn in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. You will perform routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, and ensure guest safety and comfort.

The role requires ability to work weekends/holidays, report on time in uniform, and handle emergencies. Prior maintenance experience in a hotel or building environment is preferred, with strong detail

Qualifications

• Weekend and holiday work as required.
• Punctual, reports to work on time in proper uniform.
• Experience with mechanical, plumbing, carpentry and building maintenance preferred.
• Physical ability to stand/walk up to 8 hours; occasional lifting, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain facility building and equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance across mechanical, electrical, painting, carpentry and plumbing.
• Respond to elevator breakdowns promptly and safely.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Address engineering service requests professionally and promptly.
• Keep engineering work area clean and organized.
• Assist in handling emergencies to protect guests and the property.
• Follow lost and found procedures for guest rooms.
