Job summary

Renascent Dayton LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to maintain hotel facilities and respond to guest repair requests. The role covers both guest rooms and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.

Strong English communication is required, with 1–2 years of relevant experience. The technician will read blueprints, manage maintenance orders, monitor life-safety systems, and ensure safety and confidentiality of hotel assets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in hotel maintenance or similar role.
• Good understanding of English (written and oral).

Responsibilities

• Respond to guest repair requests.
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms (plunging toilets, unclogging drains) and in public areas.
• Read blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdown.
• Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
• Monitor fire Alarm / Life Safety System systems and handle emergencies.
• Carry out maintenance work orders from departments and update records.
