Job summary

Delta Bristol - Bristol, VA is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to keep all hotel equipment in good repair with minimal downtime. You will respond to maintenance requests, complete work orders, and follow standard operating procedures to ensure guest comfort and safety.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems; ability to read blueprints; lift up to 50 lbs; and a commitment to confidentiality and security of guest rooms and property.

Qualifications

• High School Education or GED.
• Minimum of two years experience in Maintenance.
• Effective problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond and attend to guest repair requests.
• Acknowledge guests according to company standards and address concerns.
• Understand and operate electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems.
• Prioritize and organize work assignments and work under pressure.
• Maintain confidentiality of hotel guests and hotel information.
• Ensure security of guest rooms and hotel property.
• Complete reports required for Quality Assurance tracking.
• Perform maintenance in guest rooms and on equipment as needed.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and technical parts breakdown.
