Job summary

Delta Hotels by Marriott Richmond Downtown is seeking a maintenance technician to join our hotel operations team. The role requires hands-on work across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, painting, and carpentry to keep our facilities running smoothly.

You will respond to guest repair requests, perform inspections, and ensure projects are completed on time, with a focus on safety and hospitality standards. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of electrical, HVAC and building systems is required.
• Strong guest service skills, organizational skills, and attention to detail are essential.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Responds to guest repair requests with professional, courteous service.
• Operates and maintains hotel lighting and related electrical systems.
• Maintains plumbing systems and fixtures throughout the property.
• Repairs and maintains appliances, equipment and the physical plant.
• Repairs and maintains lock and key system; performs minor construction work.
• Inspections and repairs of kitchen and restaurant equipment as required.
• Ensures all projects meet specifications and deadlines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
