Job summary

Tharaldson Hospitality in Nashville, TN is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician for the evening shift to support two hotels. Weekend availability is required.

You will perform general repairs, maintain plumbing and electrical systems, manage preventative maintenance, and coordinate with managers to keep guest areas safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• 6 months – 1+ year of hotel maintenance experience preferred
• Passionate about hospitality and creating an exceptional guest experience
• Ability to perform Daily Maintenance Engineer Checklist
• Ability to maintain and repair buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses
• Identify and report needed repairs to the parking lot and sidewalks

Responsibilities

• Handle equipment repairs, gather bids, and present to Regional Engineer for approval
• Submit monthly warranty submittals to corporate maintenance staff
• Complete monthly maintenance inventory and submit supply orders
• Conduct room PMs with maintenance personnel
• Track room PMs and ensure all rooms are completed quarterly
• Be on-call for after-hours emergencies and respond promptly
