Job summary

Superhost Hospitality's Embassy Suites Schaumburg is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest areas safe, functional, and comfortable. You will inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other hotel systems; respond to guest requests; and support room and public-space upkeep while following safety protocols.

Ideal candidates bring hands-on maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, reliability, and the ability to work with multiple departments.

Qualifications

• Skilled in general maintenance, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Able to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Reliable with strong work ethic and good task management.
• Works well with other departments to ensure smooth operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel systems and equipment.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, refrigeration, boilers, fire safety systems, elevators, and pool equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and team members.
• Assist in setup, repair, and upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections.
