Job summary

Comfort Inn Near Vail Beaver Creek is seeking a Maintenance Technician to deliver a five-star guest experience through reliable repairs, preventive maintenance, and timely responses to work orders across the hotel.

You will troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building systems, perform routine maintenance, assist housekeeping when needed, and maintain exterior upkeep. Strong English communication and a proactive work ethic are essential.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance experience in a hotel environment is ideal, but training is available.
• Familiar with basic HVAC, plumbing, drywall PTAC units and electrical systems.
• Knowledge of fire protection and life safety systems is a plus.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to read, write and speak fluently.
• Must be able to lift and move objects 50 lbs up to 100 lbs.
• Schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays.
• Work independently.
• Strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs throughout the hotel and troubleshoot issues to determine necessary repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance and preventative maintenance programs.
• Assist with housekeeping duties as needed.
• Maintain the building exterior and respond to work orders and service calls to guest rooms promptly.
