Zusammenfassung

White Lodging is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support the hotel’s engineering team in keeping the property in top condition. You will help maintain appearance, functionality and safety to meet White Lodging, Brand, and Guest standards.

You will perform maintenance tasks, oversee areas with the Chief Engineer, and ensure safe, organized operations while communicating needs and progress with supervisors. This role demands dependability and hands-on skills across trades.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to perform general carpentry, plumbing, and painting duties and operate hand and power tools.
• Basic working knowledge of general maintenance, lock out tag out procedures, along with a desire to continue developing in a trade area (e.g., electrical, carpentry).
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 25 lbs. occasionally, and ability to stand and move for long periods of time.
• At least one year of maintenance experience required.

Aufgaben

• Ensure the hotel’s maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest standards.
• Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing and supervising all aspects of the Engineering function of the hotel.
• Clean all engineering areas as directed, working in a neat and efficient manner to help maintain effective operations.
• Complete all work assigned in a safe and professional manner while maintaining communication with supervisors regarding tools, supplies, and materials.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation and maintain an adequate supply of spare parts and light bulbs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
