Capitol Plaza Hotel in Franklin, TN is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to support hotel operations. You will perform preventative maintenance, handle guest and associate work orders, and troubleshoot electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Ideal candidates bring at least 6 months of maintenance experience, can lift 25 lbs regularly, and are able to work during varying shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of general maintenance experience required; hotel maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs regularly and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to bend, squat, walk, and stand for extended periods
• HVAC, electrical, or plumbing certification a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks, including guest room care
• Complete and document guest and associate work orders
• Troubleshoot and repair minor electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems
• Maintain, clean, and adjust pool systems and chemicals
• Repair furniture, fixtures, and hotel equipment such as laundry, kitchen, and small appliances
• Perform seasonal landscaping, groundskeeping, and trash removal duties
• Operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment
