Job summary

Merete Hotel Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Fairfield by Marriott Burlington, WA. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems, landscaping, and irrigation, ensuring adherence to safety standards.

The role requires maintaining HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and pool areas, performing preventative maintenance, and responding promptly to issues to minimize downtime for the property and facilities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years’ maintenance experience in a commercial or residential environment preferred.
• Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills.
• Certification in pool operation preferred.
• Meet minimum age requirements.
• May need a valid driver license with acceptable driving record.
• Must pass criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment in guest rooms, laundry, and public areas.
• Repair irrigation and sprinkler systems.
• Maintain pool and pool area, may include a hot tub.
• Keep parts, materials, and supplies stocked and organized.
• Inform manager on job status and project status; communicate needs promptly.
• Attend all mandatory meetings and uphold safety standards.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Area Manager.
