Job summary

Merete Hotel Management Inc is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold the property and guest areas. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical systems, and respond quickly to repair requests to minimize downtime and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities include servicing HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, carpentry tasks, and pool area upkeep. Candidates should have 1–3 years’ commercial/residential maintenance experience and may need a valid driver’s license and

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ maintenance experience in a commercial or residential environment preferred.
• Light carpentry and knowledge of paint and wallpaper.
• HVAC or plumbing or electrical skills; pool operation certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair carpet, wall coverings, furniture, painted surfaces, change burned out light bulbs and other cosmetic repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain and repair equipment in laundry, guest rooms and public areas.
• Repair irrigation and sprinkler systems; maintain pool and pool area (hot tub if applicable).
• Keep supply parts and materials organized; inform manager of job status and needs.
• Attend meetings and follow safety procedures; report unsafe conditions.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Maintenance Leads.
