Job summary

Marriott Madison West is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to support our facilities team on a full-time, in-person basis in Madison, WI. You will handle guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces, performing routine repairs and preventive maintenance.

The role requires 1–3 years in maintenance, basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry, plus the ability to lift 50 lbs and work shifts. A customer-focused approach and safety compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of general maintenance experience in hospitality or facilities.
• Basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting and hardware repair skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.

Responsibilities

• General repairs in guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
• Address daily maintenance requests and perform preventive tasks.
• Troubleshoot PTAC/HVAC units, appliances, lighting and fixtures.
• Patch drywall, paint touch-ups and maintain cosmetic upkeep.
• Ensure safety compliance and clear emergency exits.
