Job summary

O’Reilly Hospitality Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for TownePlace Suites in Joplin, MO. This part-time role involves painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and routine maintenance to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include responding to guest service requests, assisting the Chief Engineer, and maintaining records. HVAC, pool/spa experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and asset care within a hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Certificate from a vocational institution with completed apprenticeship in plumbing or electrical repair.
• HVAC training and pool/spa experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years general maintenance plus 3 years in plumbing/electrical/painting trades (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Perform minor and routine painting, plumbing, electrical, and related maintenance tasks.
• Notify management of major repairs or additions needed for lighting, heating, or ventilation systems.
• Tend furnace, air conditioning, and boiler equipment; replace AC filters.
• Respond promptly to guest service requests in line with company policy.
• Maintain a clean and safe pool area.
• Complete standard preventative maintenance procedures for equipment.
• Maintain files of MSDS.
• Inspect and repair guest rooms and common areas, reporting major issues to the Chief Engineer.
• Keep accurate records of work completed.
