Best Western Plus Secaucus Meadowlands in Secaucus, NJ is seeking a reliable Hotel Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will maintain the hotel's infrastructure, perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and support renovation projects to ensure guest comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Experience in hotel maintenance or similar role.
• Proficiency with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and guest-service oriented.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Inspect facilities, guest rooms, public areas and mechanical systems.
• Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and appliances.
• Troubleshoot issues promptly and maintain records of work orders.
• Ensure safety standards and building codes compliance.
• Assist with renovations and improvement projects.
• Respond to emergencies to minimize disruption.
• Collaborate with hotel departments to address maintenance concerns.
• Provide excellent service to guests and staff on maintenance issues.
