Job summary

Best Western Plus - La Crescent is seeking a full-time maintenance person to ensure smooth operation of hotel facilities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general repairs. The role requires daytime hours with weekend availability and a positive, can-do attitude to deliver excellent guest service.

You will perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections, respond to guest requests, complete maintenance tasks, manage tools and supplies, and help with snow removal and landscaping as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining hotel facilities or similar buildings.
• Ability to perform plumbing, electrical and HVAC tasks.
• Strong communication in English and guest service focus.
• Ability to read, write and follow instructions.
• Detail-oriented with good organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly and monthly inspections of all mechanical equipment.
• Complete daily checklist tasks.
• Respond to guest maintenance needs promptly.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to company standards.
• Maintain exterior areas and equipment and manage tools.
• Execute work orders and communicate progress to management.
