Job summary

Holiday Inn and Suites I-40 West Nashville seeks a Maintenance Technician to keep hotel systems—electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and guest rooms—operational with minimal downtime. You’ll diagnose issues and perform repairs to ensure safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of trade-related training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance, plus basic hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of trade-related training in mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance preferred.
• Basic hand and power tools experience required.

Responsibilities

• Make repairs to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment as needed, with minimum down time.
• Install and replace light fixtures and bulbs.
• Conduct scheduled inspections and repair equipment malfunctions.
• Ensure safe storage and reporting of chemicals and hazardous materials.
• Secure the building and monitor security systems as needed.
