Job summary

Crescent Hotels & Resorts at the Max Beach Resort - Daytona Beach is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep guest rooms and public areas in top condition. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and safety tasks to uphold quality standards.

The role requires English communication, reliability, physical stamina, and the ability to work with a team. On-site position with full-time hours; benefits include PTO and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Self-starting personality with an even disposition.
• Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
• Can communicate well with guests.
• Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co-workers with their job duties.
• Climbing, reading, standing, walking and routinely lifting 25 lbs to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders.
• Perform preventative maintenance assignments on a scheduled basis (e.g., room care).
• Assist in checking electrical systems and making minor repairs.
• Assist in checking and making routine repairs of hotel equipment (HVAC, plumbing, etc.).
• Service the hotel's pool and maintain safety/chemical levels.
• Maintain building exterior and curb appeal (lawn care, painting, etc.).
• Refurbish furniture and fixtures in guest rooms as needed.
