Job summary

Camelback Resorts in Tannersville, PA is seeking an Hotel Maintenance Technician for the evening shift to help ensure guest safety and comfort by performing preventive maintenance, inspecting equipment, and completing repairs across the property.

You will report to the Director of Engineering and handle tasks across electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, and emergency response, while contributing to safer, better-maintained facilities and guest experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect building and other structures to determine functional systems, detect malfunctions, and make needed repairs.
  • Perform minor electrical maintenance to include replacement or repair of fixtures using hand, power, and specialty tools.
  • Perform minor plumbing maintenance (replacement or repair of leaks, unclogging drains, laying new lines).
  • Respond to emergency situations.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager and Engineering Director in developing effective procedures to improve maintenance operations.
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work to preserve structures and ensure a safe environment.

Description

Job Title: Hotel Maintenance Technician

Reports to: Director of Engineering

Our Maintenance team is responsible for ensuring a safe environment and facility for all guests and co-workers by performing preventative maintenance programs, maintaining all equipment, and ensuring all attractions are inspected in a professional manner though training. This job operates in three shifts.

  • Assist the Maintenance Manager and Engineering Director in developing effective procedures to improve maintenance operations.
  • Perform minor painting, carpentry, and masonry work (e.g., preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks, and handles, etc.).
  • Prepare the surfaces and paints various structures and equipment (e.g. walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, doors, restroom facilities, etc.) to preserve wood and metal parts from corrosion and maintain a safe, comfortable working environment using various painting equipment and related tools (e.g. sprayers, rollers, brushes, thinners, etc.).
