Job summary

Spring Hill 2026 Property Maintenance Technician at Six Flags is responsible for maintaining the hotel building, equipment, and ensuring guest rooms are in complete working order while public areas remain free from blemishes.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, vocational training in relevant trades, and at least two years of maintenance experience. You will perform routine repairs, communicate status to your supervisor, and support guest service during nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational/technical training in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry or related fields preferred.
• At least 2 years of maintenance or relevant work experience required.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling techniques; knowledge of maintenance methods and equipment; strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of electrical and plumbing systems.
• Ability to operate various types of heavy maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the hotel building and equipment to ensure guest rooms and public areas are in good repair.
• Ensures all public areas are in good repair and mechanically sound.
• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and takes corrective action as needed.
• Performs routine painting, plumbing, electrical and related maintenance tasks; makes routine repairs to hotel equipment.
• Communicates status of repairs, guest rooms, inventory levels, guest complaints and unusual situations to supervisor.
• Completes forms and department paperwork and follows procedures.
• Provides guest service according to Six Flags standards when interacting with guests and staff.
• Meets scheduling availability including nights, weekends and holidays.
