Job summary

Columbia Hospitality is seeking a skilled maintenance professional for Valley River Inn in Eugene. You will maintain guest rooms, mechanical and electrical systems, and respond to work orders with care and efficiency.

Expect responsibilities that include safety checks, tool management, and timely completion of tasks while collaborating with team members in a dynamic, award-winning hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to complete all types of work orders.
• General understanding of electrical & mechanical systems.
• Journeyman level experience or 2+ years in building maintenance preferred.
• Ability to perform painting, woodworking, and general carpentry.
• Maintenance and general repair skills; operate tools safely.
• Flexible and able to multitask under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest room appearance and mechanical/electrical systems.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and proper storage of tools and parts.
• Complete delegated work orders timely and professionally.
• Respond to after-hour calls as necessary.
• Identify unsafe conditions and address them promptly.
• Support additional tasks as assigned.
