Olympia Hospitality and Moxy Virginia Beach is seeking a Maintenance Person to help keep our property in top condition. The role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on mechanical, electrical, kitchen, and laundry equipment to ensure high guest satisfaction and smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of general building maintenance or trade experience.
• Experience repairing mechanical, electrical, kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of basic hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests, staff, and management promptly.
• Inspect building systems for safety and compliance during regular checks.
• Maintain records of inspections and maintenance activities.
• Coordinate with contractors for emergency repairs and guest safety.
• Assist with renovations and equipment upgrades to enhance guest experience.
• Ensure health, safety and environmental regulations are followed and documented.
