Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Graduation or GED required or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office preferred.
• Experience related to maintenance/engineering is beneficial.
• Good command of English; clear written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Be in proper uniform with a nametag.
• Maintain positive guest relations and resolve guest complaints.
• Know hotel features, hours, room rates, and promotions.
• Assist in maintenance tasks with electricians, carpenters, plumbers and painters.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas.
• Review daily work orders and safety concerns with supervisors.
• Schedule work per preventive maintenance with housekeeping and front desk.
• Handle tools and equipment properly and store safely.
• Follow OSHA regulations when handling chemicals and supplies.
• Ensure security of assigned keys.
• Possess knowledge of local codes and blueprints.
• Assist in emergencies to protect guests and building assets.
